As a Unitarian Universalist Member, I covenant to affirm and promote: 

• The inherent worth and dignity of every person
• Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
• Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth
• A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
• The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process 
• The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all

This semester I am nearing the middle of my 4-year Naropa journey.

My current classes are helping me cultivate compassion and love for my inner child: my deep mystery within.

In order for me to engage my spirituality socially, I must first strenghthen my bond with that within me that connects me to the whole. This involves acknowledging my own trauma and discomfort empathetically and unconditionally. Peeling away the layers of self-judgement that surround the most vulnerable parts of my being, I hope to reveal, nourish, and trust in the warmth and strength of this little light of mine. 

Thank you to everyone who is supporting me in the endeavor to discover and build a healthy relationship with my inner child: my wonder, creativity, and enthusiasm. It is through this work that I will come to know the intricate depth of my spiritual existence.
