Mentor's Spirit
When I open my eyes, heart, and mind, I can find mentorship everywhere: In people, in experiences, in books, in films, in music, in nature, in children, in elders, in birds, in seahorses, in butterflies, in the rise of the morning sun. This is the mentor's spirit.

Aaron is most widely know for co-founding the Internet forum Reddit, but he contributed to dozens of different projects over his life time. The underlying motive in all his work was always to make the world a better place and despite his suicide in 2013, he lives on in our hearts and continues to inspire me to work for a better place.

Home by Yann Arthus-Bertrand (2009)
The film Home features the story of human-kind in relation to the larger story of our blue Planet Earth. It puts into perspective the damage and destruction we have caused our beautiful home in merely the tiniest fraction of its existence and highlights the stark contrast that exists between life in the richest and the poorest countries on the planet. This film is one of the main inspirations for me to want to work for a better world.
