Welcome to the learnıng agreement folder
This folder contains your Learning Agreement Form, as well as a break down of each section and what is necessary for the completion of each section. It is a long process. You will work on your Learning Agreement with the help of your Gateway instructor during your first semester as an Interdisciplinary Studies Major.
The Learning Agreement is not only a starting point, but also an outline for your studies at Naropa University. With your Learning Agreement you will:
· Create a thesis proposal
· Determine what departments will best fit your needs
· Develop independent studies, and propose internships and study abroad
· Assess your progress in both Gateway and Capstone courses
· Choose mentors to guide you through your studies
· Keep track of the courses you have taken
· Develop a running annotated bibliography and reading list
· Outline a thesis project
· Make the Learning Agreement accessible to the Chair of INTD, your Academic Adviser, and your Mentors.
Make sure to continuously refer back to you Learning Agreement, track your own progress and make sure you are on top of your work.
